WIP Breakdown on the Aging Chart
You can now break down the work in progress on your Aging Chart by any category on your board. Until now, the Aging Chart told you how long each item has been in progress, but not what those items are. And when you see a cluster of work aging past your expectations, that is the very next question: what is it? Bugs? One team's work? A single request that keeps getting pushed?
Open Breakdown by in the Controls panel on the right, pick a category, and the WIP Breakdown widget shows your current work in progress as a pie. Every segment carries its item count and its share of the total, so you read the proportions at a glance. You can break down by the same categories you already use on your Throughput Run Chart: lists, labels, work types, requests, and the custom fields configured on your board.
Expand the widget when you want a closer look. Every segment is labelled with its category, its percentage, and its item count, so the chart reads on its own. Click a group in the legend to take it out of the view and focus on the rest.
It works with Aging replay too. Move the slider back to an earlier date and the breakdown redraws to show the split as it was on that day, so you can compare what your work in progress was made of at the start of the quarter with what it looks like today. Click a segment to drill into the statuses, and export the chart as a PNG or the data as a CSV.

Nave MCP Server
The Nave MCP Server lets AI assistants like Claude connect directly to your Nave dashboards. Instead of exporting spreadsheets or switching between tools, you can ask about your delivery data in plain language and get answers grounded in your real metrics. Your assistant can pull up your dashboards, report your flow metrics, analyze cycle times and completed work, check on aging work in progress, break down stage-level stats and percentiles, and surface blockers across your workflow.
Everything runs through a secure connection to your existing data, so nothing is exported or copied. Your insights stay where they belong while becoming available wherever you work with AI. To get started, open the MCP link under your profile for your connection details.
